- Out of 95 counties, Davidson ranked 90th in high school graduation rates.
- Davidson County’s poverty rate increased to 19.9% in 2014, well ahead of the state increase to 18.3%.
- A 47.9% poverty rate was found in single mothers with children under age five.
The Mall of Hope makes it possible to offer Vocational Training to adults we serve. Offerings will evolve based on demand and the availability of instructors, materials, and equipment needed. Currently, NICM offers instruction related to CDL (Commercial Drivers License), Car Maintenance and Repair and Housekeeping/Maintenance, equipping participants for a wide range of jobs.
